So excited that this worked finally! I posted this using my new phone app but I haven’t figured out how to get in text with the image- right now I can do either/or (post a paragraph or post an image)

These were gluten free corn tortilla chips, black beans, blue cheese crumbles (reduced fat), and mexican shredded cheese (reduced fat), avacado slices ( healthy fat!) . I was considering making a nice bowl of steamed veggies or having yogurt, something quick and simple but after a few moments, I knew that I had really wanted nachos despite their “unhealthiness”.  Lately I have been all about eating exactly what I want so Nachos it was. Intuitive eating, I guess you could call it.

Intuitive eating is kind of like passing over the ground with metal detectors, all of a sudden you hear a beep of joy and start voraciously digging. As you dig and dig, you find an empty aluminum can.  Some would say ” I could use it for holding coins, or a flower pot, or I could start recycling”. Practicing intuitive eating is getting rid of those empty calories, tossing the useless crap that you don’t need back into the dirt and continuing your search for what you truly want… like NACHOS!
