Not a typical day!
Broke-The-Fast today with a Mango Protein smoothie- mixed frozen mango, almond milk, and vanilla protein in the magic bullet, some pineapple on the side, and a slice of French Meadow Bakery gluten-free Multi Grain with Almond butter. Fast, simple, delicious!

Our professor made dark chocolate covered toffee…
The rest of my day was just not typical for me… I offered to stay on campus 2-4 to answer questions for the Metabolism class ( they have an exam tomorrow and had a bunch of study guide questions) … staying in the student break room landed me with a bag of conversation hearts,

an apple pie larabar…

then my lovely friend, Sarah offered to stop by with coffee! ![]()
She grabbed me a grande coffee with frothy milk ( I love coffee-friend-time!) and splenda (its my “coffee out treat” I usually drink coffee black).
and THEN….

During my last class of the day, the nutrition club had made a bunch of food and had leftovers… So I had a little bowl of apple crisp, yogurt dip, grapes, pineapple, and celery!
Not even hungry for dinner now because of all this munching! I’m sure I’ll figure out something!
Body:
My neck is super sore ( maybe from studying or maybe from the accident? not sure but I have to make a call to the doctor to report it I suppose) AND I did the elliptical this morning to get the blood flowing for my Medical Nutrition exam. My knee is not happy with me, so I am listening to my body and taking a rest day tomorrow!
Mind:
Medical Nutrition Exam went really well (fingers crossed!). I know I forgot one or two things, but in general, I was over-prepared but confident in my responses!
Teaching: I actually had students come ask me questions! My inner self is telling me: “Yah! I am useful, I have purpose!” Haha, it felt great to explain questions and discuss digestion & absorption. Oh I love metabolism.
Soul:
I just love catching up with friends, especially someone like Sarah, there is just never enough time and always things to chat about!
Puppy is on the fence…. still praying for him!
