Time for the Beach

Body:

I thought I would share some tips this week! If you make sure that the time you plan to exercise fits appropriately with your schedule, you will be much more likely to make exercise a regular habit. More consistent workouts means more consistent increase in muscle tone and that helps lead you to a healthy body!  If you keep scheduling evening workouts but you rarely seem to actually make the workout, reset your schedule for a morning workout (  brain and attitude!)

I have been forced to re-arrange my workout schedule because of my business, but here is how I make it flexible to my needs each day:

Mid afternoon Sunday: 3 mile quick run on the campus track
Early Morning Monday: Strength at the Gym : Back Biceps and Quads
Early Evening Wednesday: 9 mile Lake Run!

Mind:

When you are leaving for vacation in one day, it seems like there is nothing on your mind that could matter more than the thought of relaxing on the beach! I have been at work discussing the training I will be doing in June with a co-worker and sat in on the state meetings this week, with vacation in the back of my mind the whole time!

I am excited for my other job as well! I am going to be training two new staff as well there this week! I revised our training plan and the managers all agreed so more meals to look forward to on here!

Soul:
Remember to be in the moment. Suffering can come from not accepting what is happening.

Commit yourself to being present where you are…And I am now at the Beach, loving every moment!
Here are some eats before I left..
Bora Bora Give Me Mora! I thought I would find these Bora Bora bars to be “just another granola bar” but I feel they surpassed my expectations completely!
The Exotic Coconut Almond is bursting with coconut flavor and crunchy almonds, with sweet and chewy oats and fruit. They taste much fresher than any other bar and are very satisfying. I will most definitely purchase these in the future!

Have you ever craved vegetables?
I crave veggies all the time it seems. I just enjoy their crisp, freshness! “Dark Leafy Greens” to me are Kale, Spinach, Mustard Greens and Collards. Romaine is kinda like the leafy green in disguise. Yes, it is leafy and yes it is green. However, in the photos above and below you can tell that the Romaine is definitely lighter than the Kale. Kale is packed with tons more antioxidants and nutrients that make it such a wonderful veggie!
There is rice and refried beans also on the plate, which was leftover from this meal….

Los Tres Mexican! Unfortunately, a serious lack in the veggie department. However, all the hostesses talk about how awesome Los Tres is and I had never gone before so I was so pumped to try it.. They were right, it was messy and delicious. There was grilled chicken breast, steak, beans, rice, and chips with salsa. Hmm Hmm.

I’m off to the BEACH yall!

What were your weekend plans?
