7 Link Love
Many thanks to Swanky Dietitian for tagging me on this “7 link ” post that has been circulating the blog-o-sphere. I have been reading blogger after blogger post about their “7 most… links” and loved it because it lets you as a reader get to know the blogger better. As a blogger, well, a little retrospective analyzing never hurt… Here goes
1) My Most Beautiful Post
The post on Running and Training. I have run at this lake for 6 years, it doesn’t get old…ever.

Running and Training Post from my favorite Lake loop
A close second is the more recent post on the Appalachian Trail Winding Stair Gap trail that I ran/hiked with a friend/coworker. I love taking photographs while I run or train or hike, I think the physical activity makes me more creative too! I love North Carolina. I didn’t think I cared as much for the state as I do, until my sister mentioned it yesterday actually. Looking back on all of these posts has reminded me of how much I have enjoyed living here. I’ve traveled Murphy to Manteo (one end of the state to the other) and luckily, have some amazing photographs and memories courtesy of Being Healthier.
2) My Most Controversial Post
The Government tells us what to eat ?

This was interesting to come up with because I didn’t think I was a controversial writer! Some other contenders:
Gluten Free Convictions
Childhood Obesity
School Nutrition!
F as In Fat
Student Wellness Policies
3) My Most Popular Post
According to my theme’s popular post widget, Thrive in 30: Superfoods

4) Most Helpful
The most helpful to me was this post but the most helpful in general will be posted this week. STAY TUNED THOUGH … I am going to write a post on how to change your car’s air filter this week. I just learned and can’t believe it was that easy! Every female (person) should know how to do this.
5) Surprise Success
This is tough because I experiment with nearly every recipe, so as long as I don’t burn down the kitchen- it is a success! I would say Heirloom Tomato Salad was minimal ingredients and fantastic!

6) Most Unappreciated Post
I never thought a soul would read my blog or what I had to write about as I made my way through graduate school in Nutrition and marathon training so I am thankful for even one comment on any post.
However, I think it would be Grains Vegetables Legumes Food Lab ….

It was 9 recipes- probably too many now for a reader to sift through all 9, now that I look back . I could have separated into 9 posts and probably got more page views and comments BUT I set out on this blog-venture for fun not for hits. All the recipes had photographs, all were prepared in lab in one day and all amazingly blog worthy well- I thought so anyway ….!
7) Post of Which You Are Proudest
As a runner, my proudest post was OBX Marathon.
As a blogger, my proudest writing and dining experience was I’ve got the notion
Now it’s my turn to pass on this on to 5 other bloggers. So here goes!!
Caitlyn @ Feed Between The Lines
Caroline @ The Broccoli Hut
Erica @ Itzy’s Kitchen
Parlsey Sage @ Deep Dish
Diane @ Frontyard Foodie
