Happy Legal Eating Season !

Trick or Treat ?

Hmm… I start with treats

Chocolate covered smores on sticks. Mwuaahhahha

Delicious bites of perfection

Chocolate pretzel bites

Now comes the trickery

The # 1 Arthritis Medication, Capsacin, turned my knees into flaming balls of painful fire. The goal was to take away the joint pain with less than 1 week until my Half Marathon.

So I decided to put frozen things on them after minimal relief was accquried by washing off the Capsacin with dish detergent and rubbing oil on them.

FYI: I wasn’t smiling McCain.

The Smiles and the Mixed Veg were not cutting it so I broke out a ziplock baggie turned block of ice, which worked for the knee until it slipped and came point-end-down onto my foot.

5 days until Race Day.

:-/

Pumpkin Margarita from last weekend. Not sure if this was a trick or a treat.

What was your worst trick or best treat of Halloween 2011?

Happy Commencement of Legal Eating Season 2011!

A wise professor (Dr. Fisher) coined this phrase, the legal eating season begins on Halloween with copious amounts of candy that are immediately replaced by Thanksgiving feasts and continue on to Christmas cookies and New Years Eve bashes galore.

Looks like you had a few more tricks than treats to start the “legal eating season”…. my sweettooth prefers treats and those smores look good enough to satisfy it, good job! Try to avoid any more tricks before the race :-/….
